We know a popular activity this time of year is to de-clutter your home. If that includes your personal library– we accept gently used book and media donations at the Library. Items donated are tax deductible. Material that isn’t added to the Library’s circulating collection is saved for the Friends of the Cary Area Library bi-annual book sales. Items that are not sold are donated to local area charities or are recycled, so nothing is wasted. Please note, we do not accept encyclopedias, reference sets, yearbooks, textbooks over 5 years old, magazines, VHS and cassette tapes.
