MEMO To: All ages
You’re tasked with participating in Winter Reading from January 2 through February 28. At sign up you will receive your mission log and gadget. If you complete your log, you will earn another gadget, plus a chance to win one of the grand prizes for your age group. One of the activities that you can choose to complete for your log is a challenging in-the-Library scavenger hunt (clues, codes, ciphers). Second chance mission logs will be available again and finishers will be entered in for another chance at a grand prize. Sign up beginning January 2. The mobile escape room is back for teens and adults, we have a murder mystery for teens in February and to close out we will have an adults only dance party featuring EZFM Band on March 1

NEW RESOURCES @ YOUR LIBRARY
Have your CAPL card handy to login.

• Access A to Z World Food to explore cultures by way of your stomach. From snacks to main courses to libation recipes, dive into the world’s cuisines with your CAPL card. Search/browse by country or ingredient and find in-depth information for each country concerning their food culture.
• Maybe you prefer to learn on your own or don’t need extensive instruction. But, you still want some guidance on how to use our databases or other online apps (like Instagram). Check out Niche Academy for quick video tutorials to get the lay of the land.
• Lastly, we are now a “FamilySearch Affiliate,” which allows library users in the building to access more genealogy resources available on www.familysearch.org than the home user can access. To take advantage, you will need to sign-up for a free account on their website. You may use our public computers or your own device on our Wifi– just log into your account when you’re in our building and away you go!
