Our Drive-Up Window and return slots are located on the east side of the building
The Drive-up Window is staffed during regular library hours; you may return materials 24/7 into the return slots (past the Window).
You may place holds in the catalog and use our Drive-Up Window to pick them up once you have been notified that they are available. When logged into your account and placing a hold, you may set the pickup library as “Cary Area Public Library Drive-up window” (watch the short video below). If you call us to place a hold, let the staff member know you would like to pick it up at the window.
Please note that we are not able to answer reference questions, issue new library cards, or do program registration at the Window. You may instead call us (847-639-4210, press 3), apply for a card online, or contact us online for help with these services.
