Proctoring services are available Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am-5 pm. Appointments for proctoring services must be made at least one week in advance of the desired testing date. Sessions cannot exceed three hours. The Library has limited daily availability for proctoring services. Requests will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests may be denied based on staff availability. Students interested in our services are encouraged to schedule their appointments as soon as they know their test date.
This service is free for Cary Area Public Library cardholders. For all others, there is a cost of $10 per session. Cash payment is required at the time of the test.
On the day of the test, the student must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to the proctor prior to beginning the test.
The student is responsible for any cost associated with the test, including printing, faxing, or postage. Cash payment is required at the time of the test.
The Library does not proctor professional license exams (realtors, home inspectors, technicians, etc.).
