The Library offers three partnership opportunities each year: the Winter Reading program, the Summer Reading program, and a new Show Your Library Card program to debut in September 2019. By partnering with us, you’ll be exposing your business to thousands. We accept donations of coupons, prizes, and sponsorships.
Show Your Library Card Program – Debuts September 2019
What Can Your Business Do?
Provide a deal or discount to customers who present their Cary Area Library card while making a purchase at your establishment. You determine what the deal will be, but we will help publicize it. We will need confirmation of your participation and deal details by Monday, July 1.
How Does Your Business Benefit?
- We will publicize your business in our print newsletter, which is sent to over 11,000 households in the Cary Area.
- We will publicize your business and the corresponding deal on our website, including a link to your business, during September.
- We will publicize your business and corresponding deal on the Library’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, during September.
Confirm Your Participation
Winter & Summer Reading Programs
We have over 1,500 children, teens, and adults participate in our Summer program, and 450 participate in our Winter program.
What Can Your Business Do?
Provide coupons, gift cards, prizes, or money at one of the stated sponsorship levels, which are used as prizes during the reading program. Monetary donations would be used to purchase prizes. The different sponsorship levels have increasing benefits to your business.

Donations are tax-deductible
- Gold – $500+ in monetary donation or prize/coupon value
Your business will be listed as a sponsor in the Library’s quarterly print newsletter, which reach over 11,000 households in the Cary Area
Your business will be included in a list of sponsors, and linked, on the Library’s website for the duration of the program
Your business will receive a “thank you” post on the Library’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, which will link to your website - Silver – $100-499 in monetary donation or prize/coupon value
Your business will be listed as a sponsor in the Library’s quarterly print newsletter, which reach over 11,000 households in the Cary Area
Your business will be included in a list of sponsors, and linked, on the Library’s website for the duration of the program - Bronze – $25-99 in monetary donation or prize/coupon value
