WiFi & Public Computers
Our WiFi is accessible throughout the building and in our parking lot 24/7. Find other free drive-up hotspots in Illinois with this interactive map.
Our public computers run Windows 10 and include Microsoft Office 2016.
Printing
Color (50¢/page) and B&W (10¢/page) printing is available from our public computers.
- Web Printing
If you don’t have a printer or want to save on ink costs, use our printer remotely. Send your print jobs online to the Library from home, the office, or your device while at the Library. Once sent, come in to pay and retrieve your print(s) within 24 hours. Color (50¢/page) and B&W (10¢/page) printing are available and double-sided printing is an option. To print an email message or attachment, simply forward your email to:
B&W printer: bw-caryarealibrary@eprintitsaas.com
Color printer: color-caryarealibrary@eprintitsaas.com
You will be sent release instructions which can be used to retrieve your printouts.
Copying, Faxing, Scanning
These services can all be done at the public copier. The coin box accepts quarters, dimes, nickels, dollar coins, and one, five, ten, and twenty-dollar bills.

Digital Branch Downloads/Streaming
Visit our Digital Branch for an overview of all of our online services for ebooks, eaudiobooks, emagazines, movies, and music. If you need help navigating any of our Digital Branch services, request a Book an Expert appointment with staff.
VHS to DVD Transfer Equipment
The unit is for in-Library use only, and to use the equipment you must reserve Study Room 2 (click the Study Room 2 details button). There are instructions included and a VHS-C adapter is available to use. Please note: you must bring your own DVD-R or DVD-RW discs to use with the unit (DVD+R and DVD+RW discs are not supported).
