Where will you go this summer?
Summer Reading: Reading Takes You Everywhere, June 1 – August 12
Adults, Teens, and Independent Readers (grades 2-5) only have to read two books and choose two other activities, which include reading additional books, listening to a CD, watching a DVD, playing a video game, reading a magazine, or attending a program. Young Readers (birth-grade 1) have to have 40 books read to them (or read 40 books if they’re able). As usual, we’ll have sign-up, halfway and finishing prizes, plus a chance for finishers to win one of the grand prizes for each age group. Second chance reading logs will be available again and finishers will be entered for another chance at the grand prize.

Also, join us for a book scavenger hunt around the Cary area on eight Saturdays, June 9-30 and July 7-28. Each Saturday we’ll give you clues on our social media as to where to find the book bag filled with goodies, so be sure to follow us on one or all platforms (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook). The first clue will be posted at noon, the second clue at 1 pm, and the third clue at 2 pm. The first one to find the bag gets to keep it and once found, post a photo and tag us on social media so other “hunters” can be alerted that the bag has been found. Good luck to all!
