WiFi & Public Computers
Free WiFi is accessible throughout the building and in our parking lot, closer to the building. Since our internet is public, communications should not be considered secure.
Public computers run Windows 10 and include Microsoft Office 2016 and are internet-connected.
Printing
Printing is available from our public computers. Black and white (B&W) costs 10¢ per page and color costs 50¢ per page.
Use our Web Printing service to send your print jobs online to the Library from home, the office, or your device while at the Library. Once sent, come in to pay and retrieve your print(s) within 24 hours. B&W (10¢/page) and color (50¢/page) printing are available, and double-sided printing is an option. Download the “ePrintIt Saas” app to your device or print now from home or your WiFi-connected laptop/device in the Library
Use our Mobile Printing service to print an email message or attachment. Simply forward your email to bw-caryarealibrary@eprintitsaas.com for B&W prints (10¢/page) or
color-caryarealibrary@eprintitsaas.com for color prints (50¢/page). You will be sent instructions on how to retrieve your printouts.
Copying, Faxing, Scanning
Copying, faxing, and scanning can all be done at our public copier. The coin box accepts quarters, dimes, nickels, dollar coins, and $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. Copying costs 10¢ per page for B&W and 50¢ per page for color. Faxing costs $1 per page.

Downloads & Streaming
Visit our Digital Branch for an overview of all of our online services for ebooks, audiobooks, emagazines, movies, TV shows, and music. If you need help navigating any of our Digital Branch services, CAPL cardholders may request a Book an Expert appointment with staff.
VHS to DVD Transfer Equipment
The unit is for in-Library use only. To use the equipment, you must reserve Study Room 2 (click the Study Room 2 details button), which is where it is housed. Instructions are included with the equipment, and a VHS-C adapter is available to use. Please note: you must bring your own DVD-R or DVD-RW discs to use with the unit (DVD+R and DVD+RW discs are not supported).
