Fees for Records:
The Library charges fees for certain records requested in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, which the Library has determined to be reasonably calculated to reimburse its actual cost for reproducing and certifying public records and for the use of Library equipment to copy records:
- Copies — letter or legal: $0.15 per page.
- Copies — color or oversize: Actual cost of reproduction.
- Certification: $1.00 per document.
- Recording Media: Actual cost to the Library to purchase medium (disks, thumb drives, etc.)
- Statutory Fees: Fees otherwise provided in the statute will be imposed at the rates authorized.
There will be no charge for the first 50 pages of letter or legal-sized black and white copies, except for requests made for commercial purposes. When the services of an outside vendor are required to copy a record, the actual reasonable charges of the outside vendor will be charged as fees to the requester, notwithstanding the fees stated above. The Library will not charge fees for records in circumstances where the records are provided after the statutory response deadline.
