If you finished our challenge, there’s one more chance at a prize for those enrolled in school (grades pre-kindergarten to 12): The Illinois Literacy Foundation, in partnership with the Chicago Cubs, is pleased to offer an exciting, statewide incentive to students who finished public library summer reading programs.
One lucky reader (age 13 or older) will be selected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago Cubs take on the Atlanta Braves at Wrigley Field on Wednesday, September 16. Nineteen additional young readers (all ages) will receive two tickets to the game and be recognized during pregame ceremonies.
